Africa Lines
site-specific intervention / unfinished project exhibition “La rhétorique des marées,” Esquibien (France), Summer 2015

Multi-colored blocks are assembled on a beach at low tide. They form a parallelepiped reminiscent of the cargo of a container ship. When the tide rises, the blocks are scattered as they would be after a ship sinks. Written on their sides are the names of fictional shipping companies: Syria Lines, Congo Inc., Ghana Shipping, etc.

For safety reasons, the performance didn’t happen.
